January and February are busy times in the plant room. All of the plants need to be repotted, fluorescent bulbs need to be changes, reservoirs cleaned and shelves wiped down. My least favorite chores is disbudding. There is always the chance that I will break a leaf or poke a hole with the tweezers.
So, without further ado, here is a little tour of my plants stands 12 weeks before show. I take photos of my plants once a week. It costs nothing to do this with a digital camera, and I have a record of what the plants looked like, how fast they grew and when they started to bloom. Since I will be ripping off those blossoms right there in the show room, I also like having pictures of what the stands look like in full bloom.
